Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information.

Pocketale is designed with privacy as a core principle:

• All storybooks you create are stored locally on your device only
• Your child's name and story preferences remain on your device
• We do not have access to your stories or personal data
• We do not track your usage or behavior
• We do not use analytics or tracking services

AI Services

When you create a storybook, your story parameters (theme, values, child's name) are sent to third-party AI services to generate the story content and illustrations:

• Story Generation: Processed by DeepSeek according to DeepSeek's Privacy Policy
• Illustration Generation: Processed by Alibaba Cloud (Tongyi Wanxiang) according to Alibaba Cloud's Privacy Policy
• Voice Narration: Processed by iFlytek according to iFlytek's Privacy Policy

These communications only include the information necessary for content generation and do not include other personal data.

Subscription Data

If you subscribe to Pocketale Pro, the subscription is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Apple's handling of your data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device using iOS's native file system. This includes:

• Storybooks you create
• Story illustrations and narration audio
• Your preferences and settings

This data is included in your iCloud backup if you have iCloud backup enabled for your device, but we do not have access to these backups.

Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time by:

• Deleting individual storybooks within the app
• Uninstalling the app (removes all app data)

Children's Privacy

Pocketale is designed to create personalized storybooks for children. While the app uses children's names in stories, this information is:

• Stored only locally on the parent's device
• Only sent to AI services when generating a story
• Not collected, stored, or tracked by us

We recommend that parents supervise their children's use of the app.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
